About The Program
The Member Rewards Program is a loyalty program available to all members of the Heron Academy. Members receive points by completing tasks that help improve the Heron Academy in some way. Examples include helping other members in the forum, being a mentor, submitting tutorials, referring people to the Academy, and many other things.
MRP Points can be used to purchase any number of things, including free membership, membership upgrades, higher reward levels, dedicated support tickets, and can even be exchanged for real money.
Our motivation behind creating the Member Rewards Program is to offer members incentives for helping improve the Heron Academy. Whilst improvement of the Heron Academy benefits all members indirectly (more improvement means more subscribers, which means we reinvest more money back into the community), Member Rewards offers members a way to directly benefit as well.
As an example, referring someone to the Heron Academy offers three distinct benefits -
1) A lifetime 20% 1st tier commission and a 5% 2nd tier commission of recurring membership fees.
2) Additional Member Rewards Points for referring the member.
3) 30% of the profits from the membership fees being reinvested back into the community after deducting our expenses (see our 30% Reinvestment Policy).
Therefore, helping the Heron Academy improve offers direct benefits through the Member Rewards Program, in addition to increased funding for the Community Bank.
Points Milestone Structure
There are six different Reward Levels that members can earn by simply obtaining the total designated number of MRP Points. These levels are permanently earned regardless of any purchases made with the points.

Rewards
Currently available rewards which can be purchased with MRP Points are as follows -
$250 USD Cashout - (500 points)
Members may exchange their points for real money at the rate of $250 USD (United States Dollars) for every 500 points exchanged. This is equal to 50 cents per MRP Point. A minimum of 500 MRP Points is required to be exchanged. There is no maximum limit for the cashout. All cashouts are made directly to an active, verified PayPal account.
1 Year Standard Membership Subscription - (600 points)
A standard membership subscription can be created or extended for 1 year. This reward can only be used on the account that possesses the MRP Points, and not on any other member account.
1 Year Premium Membership Subscription - (1900 points)
A premium membership subscription can be created or extended for 1 year. This reward can only be used on the account that possesses the MRP Points, and not on any other member account.
1 Year Business Membership Subscription - (8000 points)
A business membership subscription can be created or extended for 1 year. This reward can only be used on the account that possesses the MRP Points, and not on any other member account.
5x Dedicated Support Ticket Package - (500 points)
Receive 5 dedicated support tickets that you may use at any time within a one year period from the time of exchange. These support tickets are equivalent to purchasing five separate paid support tickets.
20x Dedicated Support Ticket Package - (1800 points)
Receive 20 dedicated support tickets that you may use at any time within a one year period from the time of exchange. These support tickets are equivalent to purchasing twenty separate paid support tickets.
Honorary Membership - (30,000 points)
Become a two star honorary member of the Heron Academy. Honorary membership includes a guaranteed, minimum 5 year subscription with all the benefits of premium membership. We may extend this free five year subscription to a lifetime period if you maintain good behaviour, however this rests at our discretion. You will receive priority support from Academy staff above all other premium members (but below Business members). Your two green honorary stars which will appear under your forum name will indicate great status within the community, and huge contribution to the Heron Academy.
Earning MRP Points
MRP Points can be earned in many different ways, and we are always open to suggestions of including new ways to earn points.
These points can never be purchased for real money (but can be exchanged for real money). We believe this maintains the integrity of the program since all MRP Points are awarded only for direct contributions made to the Heron Academy that benefit all members.
Receive Forum Reputation - Earns 1 point
Every time a member increases your forum reputation, you will receive 1 MRP Point. Members are allowed to increase other members forum reputation a maximum of 10 times each month. Members don't lose anything for giving out reputation, so by helping people on the forum, receiving reputation should be the easiest way to obtain points.
Submit Published Article (500 - 1000 words) - Earns 10 points
If you submit an Internet marketing based article to us which is of a high editorial standard, spelling and grammar free, requires little or no modification, and we believe it is worthy to publish on our website, we will offer you 10 points in exchange for having full ownership and copyright over the article.
Submit Published Tutorial (2000 - 5000 words) - Earns 25 points
If you submit an Internet marketing based tutorial to us which is of a high editorial standard, spelling and grammar free, requires little or no modification, and we believe it is worthy to publish on our website, we will offer you 25 points in exchange for having full ownership and copyright over the tutorial.
Submit Published Course/Other Content - Negotiable
If we have a prior arrangement for you to create a course or Internet marketing related product for us, and you subsequently deliver a product which meets our standards, we will offer you a pre-negotiated amount of MRP Points for full ownership and copyright of the material.
Become A Registered Community Training Representative - Earns 40 points per answer
If you apply to become a community training representative, and you subsequently pass our interviewing process, we will pay you 40 points for every paid support ticket that you submit an answer for, provided that the answer is accepted and meets our quality standards.
100 Affiliate Referrals - Earns 200 points
For every 100 affiliate referrals you make over any two year period of time, you are guaranteed to earn 200 MRP Points in addition to commissions and other benefits.
Member Of The Month Award - Earns 250 points (subject to change)
If you are awarded the Member Of The Month Award, you will receive 250 MRP Points. Member Of The Month Awards are only issued if at least one member has earned 100 MRP Points for the given month.
Member Of The Year Award - Earns 3000 points (subject to change)
Each year, a member is selected to receive the Member Of The Year award. This member receives a number of benefits, one of which is a guaranteed 3000 MRP Points.
