Thread: Two backlinks from one edu website count or they won't make much difference?

Hello, guys:

I have one question here... I found a edu site which is quite spammy... so i have no problem to leave my anchor text.... It is a blog and anchor made a few blogs... and I can easily leave my anchor text in each of his blog...

My question here is since all his blogs are on that same domain, does it make difference if I leave a few anchor texts on his all blogs, or just one anchor text is enough.. Because I thinking google might think all backlinks from the same domain would only count as one...

Hi Richard,

The value would decrease with every subsequent outgoing backlink. I'd recommend just finding a high PR page on the site and posting one backlink. If you post multiple backlinks to the same site, they will all be coming from the same IP address (of the website), and the added value will be negligible.
